....I would do a different deck , rails , , and bottom , and ...like you say , a 'few ' plugs ! [Probably , in fact , the outline would be the only thing that would stay true / close to your original ....]
I can't WAIT to feel how it surfs !
.... I just hope it makes it here and , while there are still waves . Coming up to by october , we can start getting the summer flatness early , a lot of the time

Sorry haven’t been back, I’ve been under the pump with work lately and only got out for my first surf in almost 2 weeks, I think that’s a record!
I found half an hour yesterday for a surf and took out the WTB for the first time, it’s been eating away at me since it arrived :).
Waves weren’t much chop but I just wanted to get wet before we headed out to a bbq. I caught a few and I like how it goes so far, can’t wait to get it on the point if the swell ever gets back here once these August westerleys subside.
I’m still pretty busy but should find some time later in the week and chase up the crew and organise something.
BTW, I’m planning a trip to Hawaii next year sometime so I can probably take the board with me if something doesn’t transpire between here and then.

Yes, another passion of mine as well, if we got started on that who knows what could of happened so I resisted the temptation to bring up the topic 
p.s. If you want to try a nice micro brewery, head down to Mountain Ridge Winery at Shoalhaven Heads and try the Pale Ale, good stuff!

Here's an idea. If Ben want's to try the board before the swell season ends, why not get the board west and if you are going to Hawaii, get Ben to send it back once swell dies his way which should leave plenty of time for you to surf it before Hawaii.
What do you reckon?

That sounds like a good idea. I’ve been flat out lately and surf has been crap as well.
I’ll try and touch base with the other guys this weekend and if I can’t organise something soon I’ll send her over to sample some western swell

I haven’t set a date just yet, want to do some research before we go to make sure both the weather and surf conditions are likely be good, probably this time next year or a bit earlier to escape our winter for a week or so

malaroo has been planning a trip to Hawaii late October 2013, just need to get re-established financially in 2013 (that should be ok) and I’m there. Hopefully meet the man responsible for all this excitement!

Cool, I’ll see how the schedule pans out, I’ve also got the young blokes NRL semi’s and hopefully grand final over the next few weeks but Sundays should be free.
I’ll chase up Mick and contact Rosco on the weekend and send Daren a pm in the mean time and see if we can organise a data and location. I don’t mind heading south a bit. Beery, you can grab a ride with me if you like.

I haven’t been able to get a surf here now for 4 weeks, well there have been a few very short windows of oppurtunity, mostly tiny tiny waves, occassionally a small south swell that you can ride on a mal at a beachy or find some funny ropck to ride over. I’m sure MickD just can’t justify organizing anything with these mega westerlies killing the surf. Just have to wait.

sorry I haven’t been on lately, extremely busy with work and my son’s end of year rugby league games (they made the grand final to play at WIN stadium but went down to a much better team).
We have the 1st grade grand final this week end then it’s all over for another year…time to travel for a surf 
Anyway, I’ve spoken to Rosco and will contact him again over the weekend and try for something over the next couple of weeks if we can get everyone organised.
As Mala’ mentioned it’s been very ordinary of late, it’s been up to 2 weeks between surfs for me and that’s extreme! The cold sou’westers have knocked it all out to see but with a bit of luck these seasonal winds should soon be over and things return to some normality (I hope!).
